The Inventory Management Group at Triangle Electronics provides solutions for excess inventory problems at the component level. Over the last 15 years, the Inventory Management Group has been a strategic part of the success and growth of the company.
 Triangle Electronics is strategically positioned as a leading Independent Stocking Distributor of electronic components. The Inventory Management Group provides inventory through our vast list of partners, with levels exceeding $100 million. Through our innovative “resource
sharing” program our partners provide their excess component inventory, and we at Triangle Electronics provide the resources of our sales and marketing channels. This union has turned into a very successful relationship between Triangle Electronics and their many partners worldwide.
After many years of continuous Process Improvement experience we have perfected our process internally and externally to the marketplace. We have become experts in three areas:
- Marketing and selling component level inventory
- Market knowledge and awareness of Realization Values
- Inventory Logistics – counting, sorting, storage and distribution
Developing proficiency in these three areas allows us to maximize the return, while asking no more from our partner other then a commitment to Triangle Electronics and the material to start the program. Once engaged, our partners realize the value of the program:
- Maximized return from material with no demand in their system.
- Reduced property management costs from removing the material from that system.
- An ongoing solution to an unfortunate fact of life in the manufacturing process.
As a result of our efforts and system development, we have become an
integral part of the material acquisition process of our customers and partners. Since the inception of the Inventory Management Group at Triangle Electronics, our customer retention rate exceeds 95%.
In order to manage the programs internally we are supported by a world-class inventory control system that moves material in and out of our ISO 9001:2008 approved warehouse, including Aerospace - Quality Management Systems; AS9120:2002. We have a dedicated market analysis group that monitors market conditions and continually provide input to our sales and marketing channel in order to maximize the return on our partner’s material when sold.
